It's peanut butter in English - yet in Dutch we literally call it peanut cheese -pindakaas. Why? The substance is much more like butter than like cheese, right? Apparently, the original pindakaas came from Surinam and solid, more like a cheese than butter and hence the name. Interesting, but I still don't like the stuff, whether you call it cheese or butter!
